Best Friend:

Idunn has many friends but one that she is seen sharing he most memories with is a young doe she calls Adula. Adula and Idunn have known one another for most of their life, meeting as fawn and filly, and have shared many adventures together as young ones. Though from two different worlds, Idunn and Adula both have shared in mischevious and simply innocent mishaps that only two pure souls can experience.

Idunn and Adula, even as adults, still continue their relationship: soft, nuzzling embraces and grazing side by side in the open fields. From time to time, you can see the two running together through the trees, the graceful doe bounding with large leaps followed by the thundering hooves of the stout mare as they weave in and out of the tall Fir and Aspen.

You can be sure, that until the day they part from this earth, Idunna and Adula will continue to be the best of friends but their memory will live on in their offspring of whom I believe will continue the tradition of being playmates.

Enemies or Rivals?:

Though Idunn would like to believe she is kind to all and treat everyone as an equal, there are some who wish for her downfall. Sadly, these poor tormented souls are simply pittied and loved further by Idunn, causing more anger. She cannot say whom despises her yet she does have a simple rivalry with the lead mare of her herd, Andraste. It is not a bitter rivalry but a rivalry of kindred spirits, playful and harmless.

Idunn finds the mare simply beautiful and strong, with an elegant manner of handling tough situations or rambunctious stallions. Andraste finds favor and similarities in the young Idunn and simply wishes for her to succeed, so the rivalry began. Andraste would challenge Idunn to playful romping to strengthen Idunn’s skills as a fighter and to strengthen her own and Idunn would happily accept any chance to learn from the beautiful Andraste. They would often compete with one another with simple tasks: running, romping, dealing with little ones, but the number one thing they compete the most over is who can get the filthiest by rolling in the dirt, grass, or whatever else they can find and come out looking the silliest.

In all, Idunn is simply loved by most and her only rival is a playful one with the lead mare.

Lone Wolf or Herd Loyalty?:

Idunn has never fancied herself for a loner, taking too much pleasure in the company of her herd. Though it is not a large one, she still finds comfort in their depths, always knowing their warmth and pure kindness. The thought of being alone simply pains her, not having the constant love and compassion shared by many of her herd members.

Idunn also finds comfort in being with the young ones, their innocent love knowing no pain or fault. Their warm, tiny bodies a welcome pleasure at night when the chill of evening takes over. Though not all in the herd share her similar thinking, she still loves and cares for all that cross her path, often attempting to take loners in to show them that there is a such thing as family in the hardest of times.
